International VAAM workshop 2022 Biology of Microorganisms Producing Natural Products
The annual international VAAM workshop is an excellent platform especially for young researchers to present and discuss their latest results on the regulation and biochemistry as well as engineering of natural product biosynthesis in bacteria and fungi. In this year, the workshop is jointly organized by Markus Nett, Oliver Kayser and Stephan Lütz on behalf of the German Association for General and Applied Microbiology (VAAM).
Due to the current pandemic this will be a hybrid event, allowing participation both in person and online. You are cordially invited to join us in Dortmund, or online, from September 7 -9, 2022.
Plenary talks will be given by Emily Balskus (Harvard University, USA), Alessandra Eustaquio (University of Illinois at Chicago, USA), and Gregory Challis (University of Warwick, UK).
The workshop promises to be a great forum for established and early-career scientists, post-graduate students and industrial researchers to network with each other and build strong collaborations for the future.
